3 cities in Phoenix were named most ‘prosperous’ in the United States
Gilbert has been named the most prosperous large city in the nation by Economic Innovation Group. Chandler finished second best nationally, and Scottsdale placed fifth. The most recent study, released in October 2020 evaluated the economic performance of the country’s 100 largest cities based on seven different metrics including poverty, education, housing vacancy, work, incomes, job growth and business openings.
